Adzviser alternatives (2026): AI audits for Google Ads instead of a data pipeline
Adzviser is a reporting connector. It moves data from your marketing sources into 14 destinations, AI assistants included, starting at $48.99 a month for 3 data sources. That pays off when you report across many platforms. If you only run Google Ads and want an AI to find wasted spend, a Google Ads MCP server or a free check does the job for less.
What Adzviser does
Adzviser connects data sources (ad platforms, analytics, ecommerce) to destinations such as Google Sheets, Looker Studio, ChatGPT and Claude, and every plan lists "MCP supported". Plans are counted in data sources and in monthly active rows, the rows its data warehouse keeps for you. The pricing page talks about reporting and analysis. It does not say whether the assistant can change campaigns (adzviser.com/pricing).
Adzviser pricing, October 2026
| Plan | Monthly | Data sources | Monthly active rows |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $48.99 | 3 | 6M |
| Growth | $148.99 | 7 | 8.5M |
| Enterprise | on request | all | custom |
Every plan has unlimited accounts per source and unlimited refreshes. Paying yearly costs about 10% less and adds 1 data source. There is a 14-day trial and no free plan.
A data pipeline or an audit?
A connector hands the assistant raw rows. The assistant still has to decide what counts as waste, write the queries and get the numbers right, and every one of those steps can go wrong. An audit tool already knows what to look for: search terms that spent without converting, keywords with no sales, campaigns that burn budget, broken conversion tracking and disapproved ads. It returns one ranked list, and the numbers in it come straight from the Google Ads API.
The options for Google Ads only
| Option | Cost | Setup | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free search terms check | free | upload a search terms report | the terms that spent without converting, plus a negatives file |
| Google's open-source MCP server | free | Cloud project, API, credentials, often a developer token | raw GAQL access from your assistant |
| Ads MCP (hosted) | free plan, then paid | paste an address, sign in with Google | wasted spend audit in one call, Google Ads Editor files, client reports |
| A Google Ads script | free | paste into Google Ads | one fixed check, emailed daily |
All 4 only read the account. Any change is made by you.
How to choose
- You build reports across many platforms for clients: Adzviser or a similar connector.
- You run Google Ads and want to know where the money goes this week: an audit tool, not a pipeline.
- Start with the free search terms check. It runs in your browser, the file never leaves your machine, and it shows in a minute whether search terms are your leak.
Ads MCP is a read-only Google Ads connector for ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. It finds the searches that spend without converting and hands you a file to import. Free: 15 tool calls a month.

Official Google Ads MCP server vs a hosted one: which to use (2026)
Google's open-source Google Ads MCP server is free and read-only, but you run it yourself with a Cloud project and API credentials. A hosted server skips the setup. What each one gives your AI, side by side.
Maximize clicks vs Maximize conversions: which to use on a new Google Ads account
Maximize clicks buys traffic; Maximize conversions buys results but only works with conversion tracking. On a new account: tracking first, clicks only as a short start with a max CPC limit, then switch.
